This article will explain the difference between a
primary and associated member.
Explaining
the difference between a primary and associated member:
- The primary member is the client whom will purchase an agreement that will be shared
between multiple members.
- The
associated member is the client that is linked to the primary client and does
not need a card or agreement on file.
For example: Natasha Ready is the primary
member who purchases a family membership package. Kid Ready can then be associated to Natasha's
account to utilize this new membership without signing and purchasing an agreement
of her own.
NOTES:
- Sales
packages need to be setup to allow associated members. If you want to know more about this, click
here.
- A
primary and responsible member can be confusing. A primary member is someone who has purchased
an agreement to share while a responsible member places their card on file for
other members to use. If you want more
information on making a client a responsible member, click here.
- Association is only utilized to share membership packages. In order to share a Service or PT agreement, you will want to utilize session credit sharing. Session credit
sharing does not require members to be associated. If you want more information on credit
sharing click here.
