In
this instructions you will set up your Netgear N300 router and configure the
settings.
1. To
setup your network, you first need to connect to your Netgear router to your
laptop.
NOTE: The Wi-Fi name and password will be listed on the side of the
Netgear router. Once you find the Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID) and Network
Key (Password) information, go on the computer and Click on the Wi-Fi
icon and look for the network that matches your Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
and then enter your Network Key (Password).
2. After
that, open up a web browser and type http://routerlogin.net. Into the address bar. Once the page loads you will
receive a pop-up that asks for your username and password.
Your credentials
will be:
Username: admin
Password: password
3. You
will see screen that will ask you if you want to see this router as an Access
Point Click on No I would like to run it in default mode as a router and
then click Next.

4. Congratulations!
Now you are all connected. To test out your connect click on Take me to
the Internet. Your Network information is also displayed on the
screen. You may want to print this out and save for your records
