This article will guide you through setting up detailed commission tiers for your staff. *Please note that this is a functionality that may not be enabled by default in your club. Please contact ClubReady Support for more information.
Requirements - A Master Admin login or a staff type that has the following permissions:
- Setup - can access setup
- Setup - can access commission tier setup
Accessing Commission Tiers Settings
General Settings
To access this screen, go to
Setup > Staff > Commission Tiers. The first line informs you that current option for calculating commissions are done per the club standard reporting period. To learn more about setting your club reporting period,
click here. Run Session Payroll - allows you add session payroll amounts to the commission report.
Exclude classes with no bookings - If running session payroll, this excludes classes that had no attendees (or members/customers booked into the class)
Exclude customer lost sessions - If running session payroll, this excludes bookings that were logged as No Shows or Cancelled Customers Fault.
Exclude not yet logged sessions - If running session payroll, this excludes any bookings that have not yet been logged to determine their status.
Exclude sales consults - If running session payroll, this excludes any bookings for services or classes that have been flagged as a sales consult in their setup.
Exclude eagle sessions - If running session payroll, this excludes any bookings that used grandfathered session credits.
Run Commission - Select Yes in order to run commissions.
Exclude set-up fees - If Yes, excludes set-up fees from the commission calculation.
New Agreement Tiers

This drives the commission based off of invoiced sales. These settings allow you to break this down further.
Employee Type - Select the staff type you are wanting to add a commission tier for.
Applies To - Select if the commission applies to
Club Sales (overall sales for the club) or
Personal Sales (staff member's sales only).
Threshold ($ Invoice Sales) - Enter an invoiced sale range that will be earning a commission. For the last tier you have the option of selecting that there is
No Limit.Apply Percentage To - Choose if you want to apply a percentage to the
Total, Breakdown (PIF, Down and Draft)
or
Breakdown with agreement duration (define commission percentages based on agreement length)
Commission Percentage - Enter the percentage of the commission for this tier.
Multiplier For Paid In Full Agreements - If an agreement is paid in full, a bonus multiplier can be applied.
Save The Commissions Tier - Click to save your changes.
Continuing EFT Tiers

This drives the commission based off of re-occurring monthly invoices. These settings allow you to break this down further.
Employee Type - Select the staff type you are wanting to add a commission tier for.
Applies To - Select if the commission applies to
Club Sales (overall sales for the club) or
Personal Sales (staff member's sales only).
Threshold ($ Invoice Sales) - Enter an invoiced sale range that will be earning a commission. For the last tier you have the option of selecting that there is
No Limit.Commission Percentage - Enter the percentage of the commission for this tier.
Save The Commissions Tier - Click to save your changes.
Product Tiers

This drives commission off of product sales.
Employee Type - Select the staff type you are wanting to add a commission tier for.
Applies To - Select if the commission applies to
Club Sales (overall sales for the club) or
Personal Sales (staff member's sales only).
