Add A Product Category To The Point Of Sale Shortcut Pad

This article will guide you through setting a quick pad on your POS as a Product Category.
Requirements - A Master Admin login or a staff type with access to the following permissions:
1. Selecting the POS
First you will want to select the POS terminal to edit. Go to; Setup > Sales > POS Terminals > select the edit pencil next to the POS terminal. This will take you to the settings for this terminal.
2. Making A Quick Pad A Category
Now in the setup of the terminal, select POS Shortcuts. Click on the desired number pad > choose Product Category> select the desired category from the drop down > Do.
When in the POS, if you select a Category Quick Pad, you will be able to search a list of products within the category.

Purchasing In The POS With The Category Quick Pad
When in the POS, if you select a Category Quick Pad, you will be able to search a list of products within the category.
