This article is about how to add a prospect through the POS. Adding a prospect through the POS is a setting that is only available in a Full POS terminal setup.
Requirements - To add a prospect through the POS, you must be a staff member with access to the POS. To enable the ability to add a prospect via the POS, you will need to be a staff type with access to the Setup tab.
- Point Of Sale (POS): Can access POS terminals
- Club Setup: Can access setup
- Club Setup: Can access POS terminals setup
Enabling The Ability To Add A Prospect Through The POS

Navigate to
Setup > Sales > POS Terminals and Click on the
edit pencil next to the terminal in which you wish to turn this feature on. Scroll down and click
Yes on the
Show Add New Prospect toggle. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select

In the POS, click on the
Add Customer icon near the top of the page to bring up the Add New Prospect form pop up.

Fill out all information and click

- Is there a way to add an active member instead of a prospect?
You will first need to enter clients information and add as a prospect. Once prospect information has been completed you will be prompted to make a purchase. The sales package selected will determine if a clients converts to an active member or remains a prospect.

What is the difference between a prospect and a member?
A Prospect - Is a potential member. A prospect is someone who has not yet purchased a membership, but may be someone who has purchased services.
An Active Member - Is a client who has purchased a membership package. Expiration date is in the future. Their membership status is driven by their member since and expiration date.
An Inactive Member - Is a client who has previously purchased a membership package but their membership has expired or the client has cancelled their membership, therefor this client is no longer active.
