How Staff Clock In Through The Desktop App
This article and video will guide you through staff using an assigned barcode for clocking in through the ClubReady desktop application.

Requirements -


NOTE: If you are using the desktop app, the time clock window may not appear on top of your existing application windows.  You may need to minimize windows to see this screen.



How Staff Clock In Through The Desktop App


1. Desktop App Must Be Running


The Clubready Desktop Application does not have the be opened (visible) to work.  The application will launch when the computer is started and the icon will appear in the system tray.  To clock-in have the employee swipe their barcode.  The Employee Check-In window will appear.



 

The employee name, id and staff type will appear at the very top of the screen.  The employee's status will appear on the next line at the top of the screen.  You can see that Fran Frontdesk is currently clocked out.  


2. Clock In/Out



If Fran is currently clocked out the clock IN button will be highlighted.  Click the clock IN button to register a punch. If the staff member is currently clocked in the clock OUT button is highlighted.  Click the clock OUT button. Depending on your staff time clock settings, you may also see the hours worked today so far and hours worked this week so far.
