This article will guide you through using more than
one form of payment in the Point Of Sale (POS).
For this example we will split the payment on a
$250.00 worth of invoice payments 3 ways:
- $100.00 on a visa credit card
- $100.00 on a discover credit card
- $50.00 cash
Requirements:
A Master Admin login or a staff type with access to the following permissions:
- Point Of Sale
(POS) - Can access POS terminals
- Point Of Sale
(POS) - Can run credit cards
thru ClubReady (recommended)
- Point Of Sale
(POS) - Can run Bank (ACH) thru ClubReady (optional)
- Point Of Sale
(POS) - Can run as credit card outside ClubReady (optional)
- Point Of Sale
(POS) - Can run as written checks (optional)
- Point Of Sale
(POS) - Can run as cash (recommended)
NOTE: If your club are using a full POS (receipt
printer and cash drawer) you will need to grant each employee access to that
terminal, click here.
Select Client And Start Checkout Process

To access this screen click on Main > POS. Search and
select the desired client. Modify any
existing invoices or add products for the sale.
Select First Form Of Payment

Clicking on the CHECKOUT button will advance you to the checkout screen. Select
payment type in this case CARD,
enter the amount to put on the card and select the SWIPE or ENTER option.
Swipe In Credit Card

Clicking on the SWIPE or ENTER card option will make the payment window appear. Verify or update the client's billing information. Enter in the credit card information. Unless you want this card to become the default
card on file, uncheck Store this
account for future purchases. To complete this portion of the payment click the Save button.
Swipe In Debit Card / Credit Card

Clicking on the Save button will advance you back to the checkout screen. The Credit Card payment portion appears here for
your review, there is $150.00 left to take payment on. Select payment type in this case CARD, enter the amount to put on the second card and select the SWIPE or ENTER option.
Enter In Final Form Of Payment

Clicking on the Save button will advance you back to the checkout screen. There is $50.00 left to take payment on. Select payment type, in this case cash. Click the
$50.00 button or use the pad to add the exact amount.
Verify And Complete The Sale

Entering the cash payment will update the screen. After the
payment amount matches the total amount due click the COMPLETE THIS SALE button to complete
the check out process.
