This article will guide you through reinstating a
previously cancelled agreements.
Requirements - A Master Admin or Staff Admin Type with the following permissions:
- Member
Management : Managing Agreements - Can reinstate cancelled agreements
within allowed days limit
- Member
Management : Managing Agreements - Can reinstate cancelled agreements regardless
of allowed days limit
NOTES:
- Only invoices that were cancelled as part of the
agreement cancellation will be reinstated.
Any invoices that were cancelled before the agreement was cancelled will
be grayed out. If any of the grayed out
invoices should be reinstated you will need to manually perform this.
- By default all Agreements can be reinstated indefinitely. This article will guide you through changing the setting to limit how far back in days you can reinstate an agreement.
Updating Setting For Maximum Days For Reinstating Agreements

If you want to limit how far in the past an agreement can be reinstated you will need to update the setting for Maximum Days For Reinstating Agreements. To access this setting click on Setup > Sales > General Settings. Click on the Cancel / Freeze tab to access this
screen. Scroll down
to "Maximum Days For Reinstating Agreements After Cancellation (leave
blank for no limit)". Once
you have updated this setting scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Update Settings button to save your
change.
Accessing Agreement Details

To access this screen go to Members > Member search and select the client. On the
client summary screen click the Agreements tab. Locate the
desired cancelled agreement and click the Full
Details button.
Starting The Reinstate Process

The All Details button will advance you to the agreement details screen. At the top of this screen click the Reinstate button
Make Adjustments And Complete The Reinstate Process

The Reinstate button will open the reinstate agreement screen which will allow you to re-enable evergreen, change membership expiration, and the due dates for the invoices.
1. By default
Yes is selected for Agreement Evergreen
(auto renew), if you do not want this enabled click no.
2. By default Update Membership Expiration is set to
No. If you click Yes for this a date
field will appear for you to extend out the expiration date.
3. Any
invoices that were cancelled prior to the agreement being cancelled will be
grayed out. If any of these need to be
corrected you will need to create manual invoice. Click Here for the article that covers manual invoice

4. For any of
the invoices cancelled when the agreement was cancelled you will have the ability to
change the Due Date.
5. To complete
agreement reinstatement click the Reinstate
Agreement button.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Can I refund an invoice within a cancelled agreement without having to reinstate?
Yes. You do not have to reinstate an agreement to issue a refund.
- Client has transferred to my club. Can I reinstate an agreement that was cancelled at another location?
If a client has been transferred to your location and their previous agreement was cancelled, you would need them to sign for a new agreement at your club. You would not be able to reinstate.
