This article will guide you through setting a default lead type when leads, or prospects, are added to your site. 

Requirements - A Master Admin login or a staff type with the following permissions:

• Setup: can access setup
• Setup: Can access lead types setup

To set a default Lead Type, go to; Setup > Leads > Lead Types > Default Lead Type. You will select the desired prospect from the drop down menu and select Update Default. Now when leads are added to your site, they will be automatically classified to this lead type, unless an alternate lead type is selected by the staff member.
